As most of you know, I am the owner of the community known as [REDACTED]. Michael (AwakenedRage) had assumed the recent DDoS attacks on us were from Nuclear District. He informed me of this, I really didn't have any part in it. I simply sat back and watched. I didn't intervene with Michael, as I was unsure of the truth or not. I didn't really think he was correct, but again, I was not aware. But this post isn't to make myself look good, to make [REDACTED] look good, or anyone else look better. It also isn't to make Michael look bad. The purpose of this post is for me to apologize to everyone here on behalf of Michael. Whether or not Michael apologizes himself or not is up to him. But I want to do my part, as I can be the one to take the blame being the owner of the community involved. His actions were harsh, rash, and quick to jump the gun. But either way, I am sorry that Michael was attempting to cause harm to Nuclear District. I will accept full responsibility if you believe further action is necessary. I am, at the moment, about to begin a discussion with him. I will personally see to it that this kind of thing never happens again to Nuclear District. Because, Alycat hates this place. Michael, I'm not sure of his standing to Nuclear District. But I for one do not hate it. I hope one day to once again have friendly bonds between us all. But I will not slam ND for hating Alycat, or Michael if you have such feelings. Alycat has been a trouble in the past, and has now caused damage to both [REDACTED] and Nuclear District. I don't want our two communities to be enemies. Either way, regardless of what you think, me nor my community has anything against Nuclear District. I hope you feel the same way.

A couple small changes have just taken effect on the forums: The "United AlyCraft" forum category has been removed. The News, Staff apps, etc have been moved to their respective forums under the standard Chaotic United forums. The U.A.C. Discussion was moved under "Server Discussion". The forum "KaizerCraft Discussion" has been removed. If you have objections or comments to these changes please reply.

Allow me to tell everyone the dark secret: The money going to this "charity" won't be going to the server, it will be going to bailing alycat's brother out of jail and paying his mothers/grandmother's house rent, according to alycat. This will total up to ONE MILLION DOLLARS that alycat expects you to pay. Apparently it's for college too. You can donate for the charity if you like, but just know that not a single penny will actually be supporting Chaotic United and its ever-expanding future plans. Some changes are coming to the forums regarding the "United AlyCraft" section. I will be deleting all subforums in the United AlyCraft section. As with Tidal Wave Gaming, UAC is still a part of Chaotic United. I am simply cleaning up the forums. And while the forums will be removed, the actual topics will not. For now, I am not going to continue updating the wiki. This is primarily because, well, it's not really useful. I may pick it up when there's more time, but my main focus right now is the Minecraft server. I would also like your input on the following: Free Forum Hosting Service I am considering implementing a free forum hosting service. This could potentially get new members as well as provide a good service for those who want to have a free forum. Here is how I would envision it: A free host & free domain would be <domainname>.chaoticunited.net (or .com later on) It would look something like this: unitedalycraft.chaoticunited.net Or someone could pay a small monthly fee for a real domain (unitedalycraft.net) There are several different forums that I can host for free, all of which are in the poll. Cast your votes.

What does the server run on atm? Like the RAM etc? If you're looking to hold it until I get something like yours it could be a long ass time :/ Mainly because we don't have that many players yet, and even with the Christmas sale nobody is actually donating.

Just a note, HawkEye and Prism may not be actually in the plugins folder, if they arent they are in the [[unused Plugins]] folder. just move them to /plugins from there.

So, the other day I made a poll about someone hosting our server until I can afford hosting. The poll and my own vote has decided that we are accepting the deal. The server may be down for an extended period of time while the server files are transferred. A new forum rank has been created for now. It may or may not be temporary. The rank is "Server Technician". AwakenedRage and ci833508 are both in this group. They are to be considered staff for the most part. They are able to post in staff-only forums and are able to post News & Announcements. This is mainly because Chaotic United will be run on the same PC as another server for a game made by AwakenedRage. They will NOT host forever, just until I can get forum hosting. FORUMS: I am currently working on making custom icons for the more important forums that have no icon yet. Currently staff applications has a custom icon that I made within Photoshop, based off of other icons. I have also improved the Chaotic Blue and Purple themes. There are also new themes installed: -Deviant III - Old Chaotic United premium theme. Is once again premium theme. -Dark Matter - New staff theme The Chaotic Red and Purple themes may become availible to everyone.

Hmmm. Well, I'm glad you understand my reasoning. I am going to be considering this offer quite a bit. I'm about to head off to bed now though, so I'll get in touch tomorrow sometime. After I finish a few things forum-related after family stuff, we can talk on phone or Skype and go from there. But I do agree, if we were to get DDoSed we'd be pretty screwed on that point. Plus my own internet would be down as a result being doubly bad. I might go for it but I'll reach a final decision tomorrow sometime. Seems the community likes the idea anyway. We'll talk tomorrow. I have issues trusting people nowadays. I just can't really sleep at night when someone other than myself has access to my server files like that. If the majority of the votes ends up as no, then I am NOT taking the offer. Not yet anyway.

So, alycat has been contacted by one of his friends regarding hosting for Chaotic United. I am going to make a poll on whether or not you think I should do it. Keep in mind that this won't be like KaizerCraft necessarily, as we would just be run on a separate PC. Personally, I am rather reluctant to do this, but if you guys think it's a good idea, I may go ahead with it. If not, our current setup will not change even slightly.
