The RPG server has been given a special host server for testing purposes now. Right now it is still really early on, so suggestions are encouraged! The only things concrete currently are some plugins; - Essentials - PermissionsEx - WorldGuard - WorldEdit - Citizens One thing I will clarify, currently there are no plans to have donation ranks on this server. The rank set will be entirely earned. So far a lot still needs to be done, I would like suggestions for the overall theme (futuristic, medieval, modern, etc), and maybe ideas for characters and storyline and, well, anything! Every one of you can help contribute and shape this RPG server. So go on. Tell me what you want to see.

So, in a short while down the road, Chaotic United's MC server will begin migrating over to a BungeeCord system. This is primarily to get minigames up and running finally, since most are being conflicted with existing plugins. As was previously mentioned, this new server will be hosting a Survival Games server, however most minigames will be installed there as well. However, I have a couple ideas for future gamemodes on CU once we can support them. So, I wanna hear your ideas guys. What kind of cool stuff do you want to see come to CU? If you mainly stick to current features, what would you like us to start focusing on more/catering more towards?

This post is not announcing much, as Michael already took care of the announcement portion. However tomorrow is a very special day for both myself and the CU community. It was almost a year ago that I began my efforts to bring Chaotic United back from the dead. I was told it would never succeed. That it could never work, purely because of the past, and all the things killerteddy did with it, and the horrible reputation it earned over the years. I was told that the idea of it was stupid and that I would see in time what they meant. Over the last year, Chaotic United was brought back to life quite successfully. We managed to: Obtain a paid IP.Board license Get a fully functional Minecraft Server Slowly grow in player population Prove the h8ers wrong I just want to give my thanks to several people who made this happen: Alycat - Bringing in GeneralKnapp and Michael, Co-Owning CU, being loyal since the beginning GeneralKnapp - Paid the initial fees for IP.Board, IP.Chat, IP.Content AwakenedRage - One of the biggest contributors, he hosts literally every server we have. Mikey - Helped fund several endeavours for CU, including a Trademark and powerful DDoS protection Nikfection - For initiating the CU and ND merge, with the original CU community, to unite everyone once and for all And most of all, I want to thank everyone who has been a part of our journey thus far. It has been quite a ride, being a community owner for the first time. It has been amazing to do this, to do what many people considered foolish and "impossible". A modded MC server is in the works, but the ND Horizons server probably won't be coming back up anytime soon. The modded MC may be a while though, so in the meantime you're welcome to hop on the regular MC server, which is constantly being upgraded and added on to.

No BS, just gonna get right down to it. The server has recently been a bit off and on for a bit. Mainly due to various issues. The climax of these issues has been encountered today, as the DBServer has been having OS related issues. The worst of it is imminent hard drive failure on the primary MC server. AwakenedRage is working to clone the drive before it is truly dead. If all goes well the server will be online within the next few days. - Halo

Once forums transfer over, you will lose your forum ranks. You will however be granted induvidual access to CU specific forums (ie, Ban Appeals, Registrations etc) On the MC server you will retain your normal ranks. No changes there.

Hello everyone. This post is authored by Nik from NuclearDistrict. NuclearDistrict.net and ChaoticUnited.net are proud to announce the upcoming merger of these two communities! After countless discussions between both parties we are beginning to iron out the details of this merger. Despite whatever things are still up in the air, the administration at ND and CU both share the common belief that these two communities should return to being one strong and united community. I will be keeping this post brief, and more details of this merger will be announced later. However I will sum up the important points. The current NuclearDistrict.net forums will be used as the base to house both ND and CU. The domain ChaoticUnited.net will be pointed to NuclearDistrict.net. The CU skinsets from the CU forums will be available on ND, and thus users can chose the experience that they desire. Posts currently on ChaoticUnited.net will be archived, and subforums will be established as necessary to house CU specific forum topics on ND. At first, the two minecraft servers will be connected via bungeecord, and will be accessed through hub.nucleardistrict.net. However at some point the main servers will be merged into one server with fresh staff in order to house a joint and efficient minecraft experience. Haloman and Micheal will both be receiving the title of CU Manager on the NuclearDistrict forums. They will retain their administrative roles on their own server, and will be providing valuable input to a joint administrative board. All other servers will continue normal operation, though IPs may change during this merger. All donors from both communities will have their donor ranks honored on NuclearDistrict forums. We have not yet determined what the status of the donor ranking system (if any) will be once the servers have merged. Though for now this is not a problem as the servers will remain separate (but as stated before, connected by bungeecord). So in short, NuclearDistrict and ChaoticUnited will be soon considered one community, and players (who already use services offered on both) will be part of one joint community. If you are a ChaoticUnited forums user we encourage you to make a NuclearDistrict forums account if you do not already have one, as all of the current ChaoticUnited forums will soon be archived at ND. If you have any questions feel free to ask!
