Brands
Over the years, many "brands" have merged, partnered with, or were acquired by Chaotic United - "brands" referring to any other community, server, or other entity. While many of these brands are no longer in operation today, some remain active - either in tandem with Chaotic United or independently from it.
A brief summary of many of these brands can be listed below, detailing their history and involvement with Chaotic United, and the current status of each - be it independent, closed, or otherwise. Some of the brands listed have no domain associated with them, and as such may not appear in the above domain list.
Brand Name | Information and Status |
---|---|
Chaotic Reborn | Originally created due to disputes between Chaotic United leadership in January 2017, later merged and was formally absolved back into Chaotic United on April 23, 2017. Its Discord server continued to exist privately until it was deleted February 2023. |
The Chaotic Network (TCN) | Created during the lifetime of Chaotic Reborn as a shared Discord server between the leadership of Chaotic Reborn, Chaotic Phoenix, The Blizzard Project, and Chaotic United. It was intended to help offer a line of contact to help reduce tensions between Chaotic United and the other parties. Was closed down after Chaotic Reborn merged into Chaotic United. |
The Blizzard Project | Originally created due to disputes between Chaotic United leadership in January 2017, later closed and was informally absolved into Chaotic United sometime during Spring 2017. |
WindFrontier | Originally merged with Chaotic United in January 2017, ultimately became independent on April 23, 2017. Hosted a Minecraft and TTT server, but by 2018 hosted nothing outside of its Discord server. Remained online with limited activity until January 12, 2024, where the Discord server was deleted entirely and WindFrontier was formally closed. |
Elaztek Studios | Originally dormant, intended to be a sub-brand of CU. Launched as an independent project, largely detached from CU, on April 23, 2017. Elaztek Studios was later partnered with Chaotic United in the folowing years. As of January 2023, was organized as a formal LLC and acts as the parent organization of Chaotic United. |
Chaotic Phoenix (Phoenix Empire) | Was parterned under The Chaotic Network and underwent several name changes, including Chaotic Phoenix, Phoenix Empire, and Sinclair Enterprise Industries. Broke contact with Chaotic United after the closure of The Chaotic Network in Spring 2017, and never formally launched any services outside of Discord. |
KaizerCraft (CybercraftSG, FrnsSurvival) | Initially merged with Chaotic United in Fall/Winter 2014, however chose to separate later on due to various disagreements and disputes. Later closed operation entirely, however its domain and Minecraft server IP was purchased by Chaotic United many years later, and its Minecraft worlds from during the merge in 2014 were publicly released for download by Chaotic United in early 2021. |
NDPack | NDPack (also known as Flans Mod for Nuclear District) was a custom modpack that was intended to be used for Nuclear District's modded Minecraft server. It saw limited use and was ultimately shelved in favor of using standard modpacks, such as Resonant Rise, FTB Trident, and FTB Horizons. |
Brink of Chaos | Brink of Chaos was a custom modpack created by Chaotic United for its modded MC server in 2018. It continued to receive updates and fixes until it was retired in 2020, and replaced by Age of Rebirth. |
Project: Prospect | Project: Prospect was a planned custom modpack by Chaotic United, that was intended to feature a large amount of custom mods, and would include offerings such as bosses, dungeons, loot, social spaces, and more. It was heavily inspired by the style of gameplay found in Destiny/Destiny 2, and was intended to feature a similar atmosphere and setting to those games - taking place in a sci-fi setting. Limited development of the modpack was done, with it eventually being placed on indefinite hold. Several small pieces of music were composed for the project, however these never got beyond an early draft stage. There are currently no future plans to develop the project. |
Age of Rebirth | Age of Rebirth is the successor modpack to Brink of Chaos. It was created by Chaotic United in 2020, and is generally a more focused experience than Brink of Chaos - with a stronger emphasis on technical and sci-fi mods. It continues to be updated and maintained to this day. |
