Small News post today, but I need to clear a thing or two up: KAIZERCRAFT IS PART OF CHAOTIC UNITED. It seems like some of you don't realize, on here and especially on KaizerCraft, but KaizerCraft is part of Chaotic United. Please direct any and all KaizerCraft traffic here. The PRIMARY server for KaizerCraft, United AlyCraft, and Chaotic United will be on mc.chaoticunited.net ALONE. Playing on either server will soon REQUIRE registration. That is all for this post. More info will be posted as it is revealed.

As some of you know, the server has been offline for the last couple of days, and I warned of a potential server rollback by a couple of months. Well, here is what essentially happened: DAY 1 Just the other day, I was going to try something that seemed like a cool idea - Multiple Operating Systems (aka. Multiboot). This allows the use of multiple operating systems on a single computer or hard drive. I was planning on having Windows 7, Windows XP, and the Windows 10 Demo (available on MS's own website). So I created 2 empty partitions for the two operating systems. At first, a change was needed in the BIOS to allow the windows XP installer to load, as it caused a BSOD when loading the installer otherwise. After installing Windows XP, all seemed well. However, when I tried to reboot (expecting it to prompt me to choose an operating system) it simply went into XP automatically. This is where everything went to hell. I attempted to set the C:\ partition to be Active, and it warned me that, if the partition did not have system files, it could prevent booting. The partition DID have system files (or so i thought) so I set it to active. After rebooting, I got this: "BOOTMGR is missing. Press CTRL+ALT+DEL to restart.". From there I attempted to take the drive out, but one of the two screws holding it in place was stripped badly, preventing me from removing the drive. I then attempted to try and boot off of my Xbox 360 Hard Drive (formatted with Windows 7 and could not be hooked into my own Xbox 360 anymore) by setting it in BIOS. It began to boot, however a BSOD flashed onscreen about 80-90% through. So that was a bust. DAY 2 I was eventually able to remove the screw from the computer, which is now unused. I put in the old hard drive and booted Windows 7. I used a mess of weak cables to connect the drive to the computer, it said that no partitions existed. I decided that it wasn't getting enough power. So I bought a 35$ kit to connect the drive to the computer. This connected the computer, but the drive still read as empty. I had a scan going, but the computer rebooted to update mid-scan. DAY 3 - END (Day of this topic's posting) I again performed the scan, which found a whopping 0 files. After this, I decided to go back to the beginning of it all - the Windows XP Install CD. I fired it up, and lone behold, all the supposedly 'lost' partitions were FULLY INTACT. So after overwriting the existing XP install, I changed a file called boot.ini and was able to see the Operating System Selection Menu (MultiBoot). Windows 7 would not load, saying that "ntoskrnl is missing or corrupted. Please re-install a copy of this file". I attributed this to the fact that Windows 7 was not the newest installed OS, so it had a different format than the XP version. So I installed a clean copy of Windows 7 on the partition set aside for Windows 10, and this fixed the issue. I removed the Windows 10 partition, set Windows 7 to load by default, and now we have concluded the HDD/XP/MultiBoot/OS crisis. The server is now online, and no data has been lost. And remember kiddies, know what the hell you're doing if you wish to have multiple operating systems on a single computer. Or you can install them on separate hard drives. Just look it up on google. And go by the Microsoft.com tutorials, they WARN you correctly. That is all the news for today. Something is in the works, expect an announcement within the next week.

The full story is yet to come, but I am going to warn everyone that there is a chance that the sever will be rolled back - by a couple of months. It is still uncertain if this the case or not, so when this is certian, that is when I will explain what happened in full detail. Expect a new announcement within the next few hours.

As of today, Chaotic United has merged with Tidal Wave Gaming. If you were a staff member over at Tidal Wave, please create a topic under 'TWG Staff Re-registration'. This is so I can see if you were/will be good staff candidates. I'm sure you're wondering how this all came to be, so if you're curious, keep reading. So please, make yourself at home. Two themes from TWG have been made available along with the other themes if you wish to use them.

As many of you know, Chaotic United and United AlyCraft have merged recently. After reviewing the way things worked on unitedalycraft.com, ranks, posts, etc, I have decided some changes are going to have to be made. The current changes are as follows: Staff - Staff ranks WILL NOT carry over here by default. This is becasue Alycat would accept every app submitted. Unfortunately, I do not know many of you, UAC Staff. If you want your rank back, please copy and paste the given format and make a new post. DO NOT USE THE "PARAGRAPH" FORMAT. Posts in paragraph format will be ignored. If you want to be reinstated please do it correctly. Like this: Question1: <answer> Question2: <answer> Servers - The primary UAC server will not be KaizerCraft. The main server will be mc.chaoticunited.net. We are still determining the fate of KaizerCraft now. If you want to voice your poinion feel free to do so in the forums. Ranks - Many ranks, including those such as U.A.C. Friends, Operator, and etc. are not and will not be created here. Staff rank equivalents are as follows: Server Application - Server Application, a feature available on UAC, will not be in place here. You may suggest good deals on any server hosts, but if you try to have your server become the primary Chaotic United server, you will be ignored. We/I prefer to own our servers, and I myself would rather have a server owned by Chaotic United itself, instead of being a sub-portion of some other server. We will remain as-is, so, unless you have a desire to irritate the owner of Chaotic United, please do not post asking if you could be our server provider. Thank you. Attention any and all United AlyCraft players: [united AlyCraft will be soon merging with Chaotic United. Over the course of the next few days, important posts here will be "re-posted" on the Chaotic United forums. Within the next week, this board will be 'closed' for the duration of the merge. This merge has been clarified with UAC owner, Alycat. Please direct all United AlyCraft traffic to: chaoticunited.net/forums It has also been agreed that any Minecraft activity should also continue on the Chaotic United server. There are currently TWO ways to connect to Chaotic United Minecraft: IP 1: 96.27.161.97 Ip 2: mc.chaoticunited.net All forum topics and files should remain intact, not deleted. Whoever has access to the forum files should immediately back them up, as FreeForums has been known to delete forums files on its own when inactive. That is why I will personally be rebuilding all old topics on the new site myself. And this is not the end of United AlyCraft, but a new beginning. FYI all player will be default untill all the rank ready then alycat will choose who to be in which group. for admin above who is selected only but admin above need to reponsible with other player, grief, hack, cheat. Admin above rank who are not online for 1 week no reason will be remove & back to default & no chance to get back rank. We will monitor you online, chatting recorded, IP recorded (multiple).
