Elemental Runes are a series of an items that can be used to imbue magical powers to certain items. They are currently unused and unobtainable, but are planned to be reintroduced in the future.
Variants
Blank Rune
A Blank Rune is the starting point for all runes, and has no useful abilities on its own. It can only be obtained via crafting. It requires 8 Stone:
Air Rune
An Air Rune is a rune imbued with the power of Wind. It can be created by Right-Clicking on a Magic Altar, while holding a Blank Rune in your main hand and placing a
Feather in the last hotbar slot.
Air Runes can be used to create and fuel an Air Staff.
Water Rune
A Water Rune is a rune imbued with the power of Water. It can be created by Right-Clicking on a Magic Altar, while holding a Blank Rune in your main hand and placing a
Raw Cod in the last hotbar slot.
Air Runes can be used to create and fuel a Water Staff.
Fire Rune
A Fire Rune is a rune imbued with the power of Fire. It can be created by Right-Clicking on a Magic Altar, while holding a Blank Rune in your main hand and placing a
Fire Charge in the last hotbar slot.
Air Runes can be used to create and fuel a Fire Staff.
Ancient Rune
An Ancient Rune is a rune imbued with the power of the Ancients. It can be created by Right-Clicking on a Magic Altar, while holding a Blank Rune in your main hand and placing an
Ender Pearl in the last hotbar slot.
Ancient Runes are only used as an ingredient to create an Ancient Crystal.
