CU Custom Server Resources

IMPORTANT NOTICE AS OF 2.0.0 (5/15/2022)
The server resource pack is now only used in the Survival gamemode. The resource pack's new design is such that it relies on server plugins to fill in some additional details (such as some block sound effects). This is done as a technical requirement in order to have functional custom blocks.
Going forward, you are strongly encouraged to use the resource pack as provided by the server without downloading it from this page. We will still offer this download option for archival purposes and for players with lower-end hardware or weaker connections which may have difficulty downloading the pack, but do keep in mind that we will no longer support this method going forward - and if you use this pack on gamemodes that aren't Survival, you will run into visual and audio issues.
This is the texture pack that we have assigned to the MC server. Older versions are kept available for archival purposes.
As of 2.0.0, OptiFine is no longer a requirement to see the textures, excluding custom armor and Elytra textures.

Minecraft 1.18 Test Server World

This is a world used for the internal testing server, used to test CUBungee's cross-server warp and teleportation features, among other things. During the testing period, some users (such as @TheHumanMachine_YT and @esponshadow1) began playing on the world as a survival server. This behavior later resulted in the introduction of our Vanilla gamemode. While this world will continue to be used for testing on newer versions, the server is no longer publicly accessible without being properly whitelisted.

CU Modern Beta 1.7.3 World (2019-2021)

This is the third world that was in our modern Beta 1.7.3 server. It was used up until the 2021 reset.
There are two downloads for this world:
world_2019.zip - The original world unaltered from its final iteration world_2019_cleaned.zip - Same as the other download, however the diamond block grief near the spawn area has been removed
The seed for this world was chosen through a community seed suggestions Discord channel. The seed that was used in this world was For clarification - I'm not referring to seeds that make excellent terrain generation - rather I'm saying suggest some wacky/interesting words/phrases/whatever and we'll run through some of them to find the best one by FlamingFox, which was shortened to For clarification - I'm not refe as the full seed was too long to fit.

CU Beta 1.7.3 World (2011)

This is the oldest known surviving world from Chaotic United. It's a copy of the Survival world, as of Beta 1.7.3. The download does not contain a Nether world.
The screenshots were taken in MC 1.11.2, so there may be some minor differences due to biomes and other technical changes with Minecraft. The original save within the download has never been loaded in anything besides Beta 1.7.3 - so don't worry .

CU 1.7-1.9 Creative World

This is the original Creative world used by the new Chaotic United from MC 1.7.10 until 1.10. It was retired in favor of having a Creative world with larger plots. At first, the idea of 'Open Creative' was tried out - which was a Creative world with no plots at all, just a flat world. This didn't pan out, but the idea of allowing larger builds would be realized through expanding plot sizes to 200x200.

CU 1.10 Survival World
This is the Survival world used by Chaotic United from MC 1.10 to 1.11.2. Due to organizational issues, the Nether and End dimensions for this world are currently unavailable. When/if they are found, an updated download will become available with those dimensions included.
Additionally, a schematic of Windwhistle's town, Caelum, is available. Due to past events, the original Caelum was removed from the world and new structures were built in its place. The original town, however, was preserved as a schematic. The coordinates near where Caelum would have been found are:
X: -6383 Y: 65.0 Z: -1295
Unlike the previous version of this world that was published, this world includes the spawn - fully intact. If desired, the previous download can be found here:
