Enchanted Wood is a type of wood that could be found in Ancient Trees. It could only be collected using an Ancient Axe, and could be used to create one of the Mage Staff parts.
Obtaining & Background
Currently, Enchanted Wood cannot be obtained. Previously, it could only be obtained by breaking it using an Ancient Axe. When using an Ancient Axe, there was a 10% chance that a piece of Enchanted Wood would be dropped instead of an Oak Log.
Previously, Enchanted Wood could be used to create the Mage Staff Middle part. It could not be placed as a block. As of MC 1.18, however, Enchanted Wood could in fact be placed as a normal block, though it still could not be obtained through normal gameplay.
