  1. Lenovo's are pretty good (customer keep-away service aside) but the only one I saw there with your SSD requirements was the second highest priced one. And no HDD. Otherwise a fantastic machine.
  2. Uniform because it's bright and well laid out. Also works well on iPhone.

I had a load of screenshots on my laptop. But, this was 4 machines ago. I know I tried to transfer them at one point, but it'll take a good few hours of digging to see if I can find them on one of those 4 machines. I do remember my ambition to build a massive sandstone hotel though. The griefing, not the building. I also remember when I murdered the server by placing some water... This was more recent though, when I had benefactor.
  4. What OS are you trying to load? Have you checked all connections (if a desktop PC) from the storage drives are connected correctly? Can you verify the integrity of the data on these drives? Have they become worn out or damaged in any way? I know these are a bunch of questions, but if they are all ok, and your still having problems, try launching startup repair (windows) from the installation DVD / USB, or the alternative restorative system from alternate vendors. If THAT doesn't work, you will need to look into TuxPE, which I can help you out with over PM.
  5. To my knowledge, CC is not designed for portable use, nor will it ever be officially. I know that people can make portable versions of programs, but CC is a program with a strong cloud integration, so would be harder to get working for something like that. If it's a portable version you need, there's not much I can help you with. I do, however, have access to a copy of CS6 Masters Collection, which I know works, and use not just on my PC and laptop, but have also installed for a few friends as well. PM me for details if you want it.
  6. Uhm. Ok. So, electro-shock-penis?
  7. Haven't a clue. I personally wouldn't have even clicked the links and instead taken off and blasted the Delete key as hard as possible on that e-mail, then set up an aggressive "catch-all" filter against not only the sender, but any future emails with the subject of battle.net, to ensure nothing more can come a knocking. But hey, I have no idea what to make of this seemingly legit looking half-a-scam.
  8. HD Tune Pro can scan a drive very effectively. I can send you a link if you like. Also, I could link you to some aggressive yet effective disk cloning software if necessary, but I believe you'd have to install it on the machine as it is, running it in safe mode, or run both the new and old disk through USB with a surrogate laptop performing the copy (which is what I think my dad did about 4 years ago for a 320GB drive that took about 6 hours due to serious errors on the disk.) Do note that load times were exceptionally slow on that machine, but nothing obvious was popping up until the cloning software was run as to whether there were issues.
  9. Don't use the machine, buy an external HDD enclosure for the drive (USB 3) and get a new HDD of equal or greater capacity. Look into a cloner that can either run from USB, is that will run on machine boot. However, I'd actually advise 2 external enclosures, and you use a surrogate machine and run cloning software from USB to USB. That'll give you easier monitoring of any errors on the original drive, and any unrecoverable data.
  10. I spent your part ex value on my current car...
  11. Bet that cost a pretty penny.
  12. Intentional. I never said it was the video we should definitely watch, but it's a video they made.
  13. Very true. I was thinking along the lines of simple yet great sound. Getting proper audiophile headphones is a great option, and there's a video from tek syndicate (makers of video I linked earlier) discussing custom build gaming headsets for~$1000
  14. Well, I have some decent Bose headphones form a few years ago (but they get HOT). My 'phones for my phone are some Sneheisser MM30i's, which are in ear headphones. Integrated mic, decent sound, and strongk bass. Cost about £40. Otherwise, I use a shitty Trust headset which sucks balls but won't stop working; and some Earforce X11's. Here's a video that should give some help in deciding. TEK
  15. No proof from check. Check your facts or play nice. Nothing else to say really. I advise you remove this topic and contact admin through pm only, as any concerned yet mature member of an alternate community would.
  16. Uhh, can I ask a very serious question. Serious to the point of, national security serious? WHY DOTH THOU USETH THINE MORTAL ENEMIE, THE WINDOWES OF THE VISTA?!?!
  17. If it's anything like my friend's hp laptop, there should be several screws on the bottom of the case, alongside 2 panels that are screwed in by aforementioned screws. The larger of the panels covers the hard drive. Removing the screws and removing the panel should reveal the hard disk. There well be a few screws holding it in place. Removal of those should allow removal of the hard disk. Do note that the info I have provided here is arbitrarily vague, and is from my experiences upgrading his laptop a few years ago.pictures of the bottom of the laptop would be a massive help.
  18. I don't have 2 HDMI ports on my MSI GTX 770 Twin Frozr Graphics card, it only has one. My AMD FX-8320 CPU has no Graphics capacities on it. Thusly, my PC has one HDMI, 1 DVI-D, 1 DVI-I, 1 display port.
  19. Toying with the idea of the first anime being Ergo Proxy as opposed to Another. It's a 2006 anime set in a Japan where androids are commonplace, but being infected with a virus that causes human-like characteristics (kind of SkyNet but more subtle). The main character is a girl named Lil who is daughter of the Emperor(?) and an investigator in the special branch of the police. I've only watched 2 episodes so far but would very happily watch them again so people are on an even keel with me. Also, the Proxy's are, well, interesting characters. TL;DR. Ergo Proxy is not a horror, more a crime thriller, with a strong political bent (at least to begin with). More action-ey, not comedic, but at least it's not an all out murder-fest like Another
  20. eh, I'm still collating information. Seems people aren't too keen on a rather unsettling and violent horror for the first one though...
  21. So, I have some anime's that I enjoy, and I think other people may enjoy them as well. My question is, would you be interested in watching if I were to stream them live? I'd have to investigate the best quality I could support, but I can guarantee 720p stream quality on most programs. All you have to do is vote above whether you would be interested in watching streamed anime as a community, or would rather be linked to it so that you could watch it in your own time. The first anime I was thinking of streaming is called Another. It's a 12 part horror anime set in 1990's Japan, with some very gruesome events. Anyone interested in this, or do you have your own suggestion? If so, post below. Falk.
  22. Just got the DVI cable necessary to be able to dual screen on my Monitor and TV.
  23. Is there a rank for people that invest stupid amounts of money? Seriously though, I never knew that Kendev was such a good peoples person...
