This resource pack is fairly straightforward. It removes the "Java Edition" subtitle from the main menu of the game.
 
Just drop this into your resource packs folder and enjoy the real Minecraft.

This is the Brink of Chaos world from 2016 to August 2018. The map is designed for the Brink of Chaos modpack available on the Technic Launcher. As with any other world upload, there are a few guidelines:

Simply place the downloaded .zip file into %appdata%/.minecraft/resourcepacks, then look for `Classic Font.zip` in your Resource Packs menu (Options>Resource Packs). That's it! Enjoy!

This is the Survival world used by Chaotic United from MC 1.10 to 1.11.2. Due to organizational issues, the Nether and End dimensions for this world are currently unavailable. When/if they are found, an updated download will become available with those dimensions included.
 
Additionally, a schematic of Windwhistle's town, Caelum, is available. Due to past events, the original Caelum was removed from the world and new structures were built in its place. The original town, however, was preserved as a schematic. The coordinates near where Caelum would have been found are:

This is the survival world used during 1.10 and 1.11. It was created after the 2016 relaunch and was used up until the 2017 relaunch. The spawn structure for this world was removed to prevent usage of the spawn in other servers, but all player builds are intact.

This is the world used for Chaotic United's Semi-Vanilla server. It was accessible from June 8th, 2018 until October 13, 2019 - where it was shut down as part of the update to 1.14.4. The spawn has been left intact in order to provide the complete experience.
 
And for clarification - no, the spawn was NOT copied and pasted from PlanetMinecraft or some other online source. It, like every other spawn and hub we have, are made by CU, for CU.

This is the SkyBlock world that CU had from 1.12.2 and prior. We have left the spawn intact this time around for archival purposes. Please note that any newly-generated chunks will generate normal terrain if loaded in a singleplayer environment without any sort of custom empty world generator.

This is our 1.12.2 survival world, which was up until the server's update to MC 1.14.4. The spawn area has been left in place in order to retain the original feel of the spawn.

This is the third Factions world that saw active use. Much like the first two Factions worlds, it saw limited use and Factions was decided to be dropped for 1.13.

This is the Survival world that CU used from 1.15.2 until 1.16.1. Due to issues with 1.13 chunk generation, the world was "soft-reset" during its lifespan. This is the version of the world that was used after that reset. The reset took place on April 4, 2020. You can read more about the reset here:

This is the Survival world that CU had from 1.13 until the soft reset that took place in 1.15.2. Due to server crashes of increasing frequency that were all related to chunk I/O with this world, we opted to do a soft reset of survival where any users who requested that their build be copied over would be manually transferred. The new world uses the same seed and has identical terrain to make copying/pasting people's builds easier. The reset took place on April 4, 2020. This is the original Creative world used by the new Chaotic United from MC 1.7.10 until 1.10. It was retired in favor of having a Creative world with larger plots. At first, the idea of 'Open Creative' was tried out - which was a Creative world with no plots at all, just a flat world. This didn't pan out, but the idea of allowing larger builds would be realized through expanding plot sizes to 200x200.

This is the very first Survival world ever used within the new Chaotic United. Due to organizational issues internally (blame 14-year-old haloman30), the following inconsistencies are present:
Some chunks had to be manually re-imported from an earlier version of the world, as they were absent in the final archive The Nether and End dimensions may be inconsistent, as the first two Survival resets failed to reset the Nether and End properly There may be other minor issues as this particular copy of the world remained loaded within the server until MC 1.9

This is the creative world that was used on CU from 1.7.10 up until its retirement in 1.10.
 
This creative world was retained on CU from day one of the revival. Unlike the survival map, this was not falsely retained due to lack of experienced server administration, but because it didn't need a reset. Yet. It was eventually retired to allow for larger scale builds on the MC server, as there was no other means of doing it aside from an experimental 'OpenCreative' mode. This had the drawback of limited grief prevention and ultimately didn't work out well, and was scrapped. This map was retired when the server updated to 1.10 and was replaced with the upsized plotworld featuring 200x200 plots - nearly 3x as large.

This is the world that CU used for its survival gamemode in Minecraft 1.8 (2014-2015)
 
In the early days of the CU revival, there was a rather...slow update process. The server began on MC 1.7.10, and this world continued to be used after the update to 1.8 - resulting in some areas of the map where new chunks were generated with the new world generator due to biome changes. It was not until the update to MC 1.10 that this world would at long last be retired in favor of a clean slate.

This is the second Survival world used within the new Chaotic United. The exact MC version is not known for certain, but it seems to belong to MC 1.9.

This was a never-used Survival world that was set to be used in MC 1.9. It has no known player builds, and only has a small biosphere spawn with 4 exits into the open world.

This is the oldest known surviving world from Chaotic United. It's a copy of the Survival world, as of Beta 1.7.3. The download does not contain a Nether world.
 
The screenshots were taken in MC 1.11.2, so there may be some minor differences due to biomes and other technical changes with Minecraft. The original save within the download has never been loaded in anything besides Beta 1.7.3 - so don't worry .

IMPORTANT NOTICE AS OF 2.0.0 (5/15/2022)
 
The server resource pack is now only used in the Survival gamemode. The resource pack's new design is such that it relies on server plugins to fill in some additional details (such as some block sound effects). This is done as a technical requirement in order to have functional custom blocks.
 
Going forward, you are strongly encouraged to use the resource pack as provided by the server without downloading it from this page. We will still offer this download option for archival purposes and for players with lower-end hardware or weaker connections which may have difficulty downloading the pack, but do keep in mind that we will no longer support this method going forward - and if you use this pack on gamemodes that aren't Survival, you will run into visual and audio issues.
 
This is the texture pack that we have assigned to the MC server. Older versions are kept available for archival purposes.
 
As of 2.0.0, OptiFine is no longer a requirement to see the textures, excluding custom armor and Elytra textures.
