We are not lokking for people who plan to simply do comments and enjoy the perks of a helper. We want dedicated crew who will help improve the guest to member turnover ratio.

I think its a great idea so long as they are responsible and prove themselves to be worthy of the position. Also, the only difference between members and premium ranks is the amount of money they have donated, which shouldn't be a deciding factor as to whether or not they can apply for a staff/crew rank. That would be financial discrimination and seems unfair. I'm glad this opportunity has arisen for members because i have seen plenty of great potential candidates for Helper, but have never been given a shot.

The reason why donating was a requiremet was that it showed that the user was dedicated to the server and willing to help pay for it.
