Atomicbeast101 12 Posted June 5, 2014 You may be thinking this is a joke. No its not, we are making tons of huge plans to update the Nuclear core of NuclearDistrict community. We are doing this to add HUGE AMOUNTS of fun and experiences to the server. We are going to improve our services that are poor and improve the interest level on the Minecraft server. We are not just doing that on the MC server, we are also doing this on the main page, forums, new game servers, and players! (Yes we can make plans to update the players!) We want to fix the boring survival experiences, unfair factions system, increase the economy, and the population! I am not the one who is going to make all of the plans, my CoreStaff (Atomicbeast101, Nikfection, KooladeCaprisun, and 16dbaxter), my DevelomentStaff (AlexZeroHour and IloveCars), and my mods (Which is too long for me to list here) are currently helping each other to construct HUGE HUGE HUGE HUGE plans to make an impact on the community as a whole. We will be giving out some clues for anyone who is VERY curious about what will be in the plans for NuclearDistrict! Thank you all so much for supporting NuclearDistrict by providing Nuclear weapons to it! - Nuke (Founder of NuclearDistrict. Obviously.) Guest Muun Posted June 6, 2014 will u be paying for advertising to get people to actually play on our server? our population is absolutely dead and any new users who go on immediately leave because there is never any staff online. what is the point of improving the server unless there are people there to enjoy the changes.. work on that first. seriously

I have tried to share my views on this with the rest of the upper staff, and I have used some money to advertise on minechat. I am still waiting on a video and other advertising methods, but no one else seemed to grasp the fact that theres no point imrpving services when there is no one around to appreciate it. We can make ourselves good, but without anyone, who cares? By getting more people, we can improve our services as a whole and feed off of the population. Its a chain reaction. I stand by this Muun, and I thank you for your insight.

Improvements to the server attract people and improve the population. Yes, we do need to pay for advertisement. To be honest, however, our MC services at the moment are pretty bad. We don't just get people to join our server first when our server is terrible. Also, what makes you believe new users immediately leave because of the presence of staff members or not? All of the times I've been online, people still joined and left very shortly, or asked some questions and then left. My presence, or the presence of any staff whatsoever does not significantly affect one's decision to stay or leave, most of the time. Maybe if the server were to be completely empty with no one to help the new person, then possibly. However, a regular non-staff member could help out the new player regardless of the presence of staff.

There was a stretch of time when litteraly for a week only one or two new faces checked out the community. there simply isnt enough new people to appreciate and be interested in what we have. sure having something good will interest people, but theres no one coming to even check it out, and in addition, when we are on non peak timings, when very very few, if any people are on, even if a new face came and saw a wonderful server, they wouldnt care because theres not enough people, which makes the idea of a multiplayer server pointless. Guest Reepz Posted June 7, 2014 To be honest, however, our MC services at the moment are pretty bad. It isn't bad at all, if I remember correctly Chaotic United didn't offer a lot of services, just a survival and creative world: but it was populated. Those were the times when you typed in "cracked MC server" on YouTube and Chaotic United was amid the first of choices in videos. Although the appeal to it might be that it have online-mode turned off there were numerous videos on YouTube on it and especially comments. If we could stimulate this sort of response from players and Staff I can envisage great success.
