Guest Godleydemon Posted February 11, 2014 Alot of you guys probably don't know me, but many of the old timers of CU probably do. I'm Godleydemon, and I was the first person ever to win the youtube contest they launched all the way in the beginnings of minecraft beta. Eventually I ended up becoming a sever dev for CU until me and Teddy had a large falling out and I ended up leaving to create Demonmine. Which eventually I could no longer run do to living arrangements. To be honest, I've been waiting for this day for a long time now. But what I thought I would do is share a few little pictures here and there of the old CU world. The first CU world. I know alot of old timers our out there going, "no freaking way". Yuppers, I still have my pictures from when I ran my articles on Chaotic Cities. So I thought it'd be a perfect time to look back on all of our crazy antics, and the fun things that we all built in those times. Vino was the main city of Chaotic United and there was some pretty fun builds there. Tons of pixel art and just generally nice people. I have a lot of fond memories there, including fixing that little flower house there when it got griefed once. Paradise island, I'm not really sure what all people did with this. But it did end up becoming a nice little tourists destination in the server XD. New Astral, to be honest, I never went back to this town after I took the pictures. I have another one of the town, but its really not worth sharing. Cliff town was actually a largish town that I actually lived in for a while. I absolutely loved the concept. It was straight across the bridge if I remember right; from spawn. It was a town completely made from cobblestone and wood. It ended up stretching pretty far, after I left, I have no idea what happened to it. But then again, when I left I was designing the new server to replace this one. The rest of my pictures are really not worth sharing, they show various little tid bits here and there. But thats about all I have. I think I have some more hanging around in a folder somewhere that was never hosted online. It'll take me a while to find them though so I wouldn't hold up much hopes. Glad to see you guys forging out on your own and making a server that everyone can be proud of, let me know if you guys need any help. This is the photo where we had first launched Factions, and those aren't the real Kevo and ntx. Just a glitch. This is where I had just taken down a Faction and the leader was turning into a four year old. Just fooling around. This is where we had ended Factions. With a bang. I'll try and hang about every once in a while but I'm a Network Administrator for another server network and the backend Administrator for a server hosting company. So not a lot of time in the world to go gallivanting around to all of my old haunts, lol. I did toss a pm at Spencer though offering him a unique deal, if he decides to talk it out, we might be seeing more of each other XD lol. Its hard when you've been away from the community as long as I have. I'm going to see if she's still on my skype XD --edit-- awwws it looks like she deleted that skype, so I don't have a way to get ahold of her anymore. --edit2-- After going through and being a little stalkerish. I've been able to determine a few things. She probably doesn't play minecraft anymore and she mostly plays steam games now (I've sent her a friend request). She also deleted her deviant art, which I find odd. She no longer posts to her youtube channel and she appears to be trying to fall off the face of the earth. The last contact I had from her was January 11, 2013. So its been a good while, but apparantly someone shared her skype user name on omegle and its why she's gone underground.
