Forum Rules

  • No double posting allowed - Very annoying for other members of the community to see double posts.
  • "Mature" level discussion - Please keep any mature discussion limited to the "Mature Discussion" forum.
  • No advertising - Meaning no advertising other gaming communities/servers. It will result in a permanent ban.
  • Reputation abuse - Do not abuse reputation. Abusing reputation would be asking for reputation or mass adding reputation to users. You will receive a 50% warning level.
  • No cyber bullying allowed in the community - Includes forums and gaming services. You will receive a 50% warning level if done so.
  • No flaming players & staff members - You will also receive a 50% warning level if done so.
  • Spamming/Hacking/Glitching are not permitted
  • Signature size must not exceed 4 inches or 2.54 centimeters (Browser must be in 100% zoom level to determine the size.) - If you exceed the limit, the staff members will remove it and give you a warning. If done again, signature will be removed and given a 10% warning level.
  • No drama allowed in the community - If any drama appears, it will be either removed or moved away from public immediately. Haloman30, owner of the Chaotic United Network will not welcome drama at all.
  • No staff gang-ups are allowed - Staff are welcome to voice criticism of the Owner's actions, however staff grouping together to get any staff member or Owner demoted without valid reasoning will not be tolerated.
  • No leaking of personal information - Leaking personal information, in any form, is not allowed. Doing so will result in a 90% warning level on first offense. Repeat offenders will be permanently suspended.
  • Speak Fluent English - CU is an english speaking community, you must be able to speak English well enough to maintain conversation as well as understand our own guidelines.
  • Do not leak confidential chat logs, screenshots, or other content - Private or otherwise sensitive content must not be leaked to the public or to others besides those with access to it directly. You may share this type of information with CU's administration team if it is something that you believe we should know about.


Minecraft Server Rules

  • Do not grief - This is the act of causing grief to other players by destroying blocks placed or owned by other players. You may destroy other blocks if it is faction related.
  • Do not spam - Repeatedly sending messages in a short time frame is not allowed.
  • Do not ask for items - Asking staff or someone with spawning capabilities for items is annoying and not allowed.
  • Do not try to lag the server or annoy players - Mass redstone doors, minecart loops, and other redstone devices that lag the server or annoy its players are not allowed.
  • Do not overdo sexual-related chat - There is absolutely nothing wrong with this sort of talk, but randomly saying sexual crap for no apparent reason is not allowed.
  • Respect players & staff members - Always remember this tip: "Respect others the same way you want to be respected." Also, please do not suck up to any of the staff members. It gets very annoying.
  • No cheats/hacks/zombe packs - Cheating or hacking on the server to give yourself an unfair advantage is not tolerated. This includes but is not limited to speed hacking, X-Ray hacking, and fly hacking just to name a few. Zombe fly and speed are allowed if you have donated for /fly and /speed, however.
  • Respect everyone - You are not expected to like everyone, but this does not mean you can use offensive language or harass others.
  • You may not sell spawned items - Exchanging spawned item for in-game currency is not allowed. This will lead to the suspension of your premium rank.
  • Do not distribute spawned items to other members - If you are a premium member, do not give away items that you have spawned to other players. This will lead to the suspension of your premium rank as well.
  • Do not teleport or disconnect to avoid a PvP encounter.
  • Do not threaten the server - Do not discuss or conspire to have the server attacked by a DDoS or any other forum of unwanted or malicious attack.
  • Do not advertise - Advertising your server or any other servers or communities, via public chat or private message. You will be banned immediately.
  • Speak Fluent English - CU is an english speaking community, you must be able to speak English well enough to maintain conversation as well as understand our own guidelines.
  • Do not leak confidential chat logs, screenshots, or other content - Private or otherwise sensitive content must not be leaked to the public or to others besides those with access to it directly.   • Do not use exploits - Exploiting glitches, either with the server or Minecraft itself is not allowed.

 

TeamSpeak Server Rules

  • Swearing may not be used to insult others. - Swearing is okay in general, but it cannot be used to insult or harass someone.
  • No spamming allowed - Also includes in text chat, voice, and poking.
  • No inappropriate names - You have to connect with your in-game username!
  • Have no more then 1 PC/Phone/Tablet device connected - It is completely unnecessary to have more than one devices connected. If done so, all of the related connected devices will be kicked and given a warning.
  • Don't change the channels rapidly, it gets really annoying.
  • No soundboards allowed - Will result in an insta-ban.
  • Creating channels are allowed for guest users (temporary) - The rule is that the channel names cannot be offensive.

 

Discord Server Rules

  • Swearing may not be used to insult others. - Swearing is okay in general, but it cannot be used to insult or harass someone.
  • No spamming allowed - Do not spam messages of any type. This includes mass-pinging.
  • No soundboards allowed - Will result in an insta-ban.
  • No NSFW Content is allowed outside of #nsfw - Discussion of mature topics is allowed, but do not post any NSFW images, videos, or links outside of the #nsfw channel.
  • No Political or Religious Bashing - When in the #politics channel, be mature and respect the opinions of others, and try to not be biased. Politics and religion are two topics that are known to divide people, please try to act mature and don't overreact when someone has another opinion besides your own.
  • No racial or otherwise discriminatory language - Do not present yourself as racist or otherwise discriminate against other genders, races, sexual preference, and so on.
  • No ear rape - Ear rape is unpleasant and depending on a users headset or speaker volume can cause actual hearing loss or damage their speakers. Repeat offenses will result in either you being denied the use of the bots, or the removal of the bots entirely.
  • Don't change voice channels rapidly, it gets really annoying.
  • No duplicate or offensive nicknames - Having the same or too similar nickname or username as someone else, or having an inappropriate nickname will not be allowed. Your user/nickname should represent you and not be mock another person. Something like "wolfbitez" compared to "ShadowWolf" are okay, but something like "haloman30" compared to "haloreach30" is not allowed.
  • No leaking of personal information - Leaking personal information, in any form, is not allowed. Doing so will result in a temporary suspension on first offense. Repeat offenders will be permanently suspended.
  • No unsolicited recording of voice chat - Don't record voice chat unless all users in the chat don't have a problem with it. Violation of this will result in a permanent suspension.
  • Do not post memes, random references, shitposting, screenshot loops, etc. outside of #memes - Any shitposting content should be restricted to the #memes channel, as the other channels are meant for genuine discussion and talk - NOT trash.
  • Do not leak confidential chat logs, screenshots, or other content - Private or otherwise sensitive content must not be leaked to the public or to others besides those with access to it directly. You may share this type of information with CU's administration team if it is something that you believe we should know about.

 

Chaotic Vision Livestream Rules

  • Do not cause a scene in the streaming channels - If you start creating a scene in the channels, you will be muted.
  • No Raiding - If an attempt to raid any stream is made, you will be banned immediately. We are not a platform to use to raid a streamer, nor will we accept a raid attack directed at us.
  • No racist or excessively inflammatory language Do not present yourself as racist or otherwise discriminate against other genders or races
  • No sexist comments in voice - Sexism is something that nobody at CU will tolerate. You will be muted immediately.
  • No Political or Religious Bashing - The livestreams are not the time or place to discuss political views, keep them to yourself or within the #politics channel on Discord.
  •  No ear rape - Ear rape is incredibly annoying and you will be muted immediately.
  • No Violent Threats towards anyone - Don't threaten people, it's just plain rude. You will be muted, kicked, or banned depending on the severity.
  • No impersonation - Do not impersonate another player or staff member. You will be kicked if you do so.
  • No unauthorized distribution of information
  • No playing music - Use of WakaUnited or other music sources (your own mic or any Discord bot) will not be tolerated during a Chaotic Vision livestream.
  • Bans may apply to staff members and be subject to additional consequences on CU
  • Bans from the stream chat may follow to CU
  • Bans from CU may follow to the Chaotic Vision Channel

 

Warning Levels

  • 50% - Suspend posting privileges for 1 Day(s)
  • 60% - Suspend posting privileges for 3 Day(s)
  • 70% - Move to banned group (Suspended) for 1 Day(s)
  • 80% - Move to banned group (Suspended) for 3 Day(s)
  • 90% - Move to banned group (Suspended) for 1 Week(s)
  • 100% - Move to banned group (Suspended) for 1 Months(s)

 

Please note that while these rules are considered to be an exhaustive list, there may be edge cases that we simply cannot account for that will result in punishment. For the good-willed user, this will never be a problem for you. For trolls and other people doing purposefully disrespectful or harmful behavior, the argument that "it's not technically against the rules" will not apply. We reserve the right to take action on any user's account for any reason, even if that reason isn't specifically listed here. The general sentiment - be respectful, be ethical, and use common sense.

 

Rules are subject to change without prior notice. We will announce if there's any changes to the rules. Our advice is to check forums often for any updates/changes.
