So I've got a VOLTZ server running at the moment. It's currently running version 2.0.4, with no extra mods. That means all items are accessible etc, but no creative or anything like that.
However, this is only a stop gap. Once I've finished collating and building the files necessary, I will be updating this server to run a more modern build of voltz, using Minecraft 1.7.10 if possible. This will mean newer mod versions, more stuff to do, better plugin support and better client to server performance. I will make it known when the update is complete, but for now, you are free to ask for a whitelist to join this server if you want to start playing with voltz.
IP: 176.31.117.38:26656
Or you can use voltz.in-quest.org if you want.

Try a different font / class for displaying the text / re install Unity?

I will be using the laptop for:
- Programming
- Networking/Security stuff
- College work
- Run 2 OS: Windows 8.1 and Linux Ubuntu 14.04
- Some mild gaming (Like some steam ones such as TF2 or GarrysMod)
- Some web development
- Watching movies (I will buy a separate DVD/CD drive for it. Not a problem for me.)
- Skyping
Is this a good option?
http://www.dell.com/us/p/inspiron-15-7537/pd?oc=fncwb1809b&model_id=inspiron-15-7537
It's a Dual Core laptop with no HyperThreading. I have a slightly earlier model with a dual core i7 (HyperThreaded) and it's ok for development work. The 5400rpm HDD really slows it down, but in games is can handle 60fps on Steam games like TF2. However, go to a game like Batman, on medium settings, and it only sits around 40FPS. Thats when the GPU is actually working...

My moms dell runs better than yours apparently
Does your mum's Dell have ATI Radeon HD 8xxxM series graphics? Does it take about 3 HOURS to update the drivers to something that doesn't cause continual graphics failures, bluescreens, crashes and instability of the entire OS? Does she have an Alienware with ATI Radeon HD 6xxxM series graphics, which work great until the drivers punch a time card and FUCK EVERYTHING EVER, resulting in you spending 6 HOURS at a mates house to coax the GPU into running for a WHOLE GODDAM 15 MINUTES BEFORE CRASHING AGAIN!
See, I bet she doesn't have that. Any money you like.

The flaw with that is the fact that my Toshiba c655 runs portal 2 at 60fps with vsync
The flaw being it isn't a Dell?

Why do I hear people keep telling me Alienware are bad?
Sometimes its based off of the way the specs are bit since they are made by dell they are dissing the laptop
My friend has an Alienware, with Quad CPU (which is great), 8GB of RAM (which works beautifully), Full HD screen, Decent storage (but no SSD) but by far and away the WORST, MOST SHIT FILLED SPAWN OF SATAN THAT COULD EVER FUCKING BE PUT INTO A PREMIUM BITCH OF A SHITTY COMPUTER graphics card from AMD.
Also, I'd like to point out my Dell laptop, with a dual core CPU and lower spec GPU, also built by AMD, HAS THE EXACT SAME FUCKING ISSUE WITH SHITTY GRAPHICS BEING SHIT AND BROKEN AND SHIT FUCKING DRIVERS OH MY FUCKING GOD HOW CAN ANYONE PUT UP WITH HOW FUCKING SHIT THESE BLOODY THINGS ARE?!?!

I hear custom built is a good option
In a laptop, it's going to be pushing the $2k mark fairly quick with these specs if you go custom built. Also, it's going to be heavy as FAWK.
Here's my suggestion, as I suggested to Nik a few days back. LINK No backlit keyboard but around the $1k mark, so that's good.
However, if you want even more than that, then I found THIS from your original link. Check out that keyboard.
And finally, if you want to spend around $2k mark - SHIT that thing's fast! (Also, HERE's the same one with one less SSD and $100 off the ticket)

I'll post pics Thursday when I can put car in a place to take pics (that's right I'm already on my second car after less than 4 months of deciding to own a car).

I prefer Ford cars due to feel, low cost of maintenance, reliability and "fun factor" for driving in (even though it costs more for extra features like A/C etc).
If you want all out reliability and great workmanship, VW is best. They are so well made, they de-value about half the rate of a Ford (so after 5 years, the Ford would be worth around €3500, whereas the VW would sell for around €5000. This is going by current UK market prices for main dealers selling a second hand car with average mileage (so 5 years = ~50,000 miles), but should give an indication of my thoughts.
TL;DR, I like Ford myself (more fun), but VW is better made if you want best reliability.
~EDIT~ I had an Opel Corsa (which was illegal when I bought it) so returned it and have now got a Seat Ibiza. The Seat is built on the same chassis as the Polo, so is certainly something to look into, as it's priced lower for very similar specs.

As I said previously, apologies about crappy lens flare from iPhone camera, as well as all the noise and the fact I had to take some of these pictures from the other side of my room...

The matrix. First watched it when an impressionable age of 11, absolutely over the idea of downloading program's and then be a super awesome fighting machine, until Mr Reeves strutted into a secure facility, and shot very one to pieces with "keys and loose hangs he had about his person"
Most Jackie Chan films. Cliche I know, but his films are easy to watch whilst still being actiony and well devised. Having to pick one, I'd say either Rush Hour or The Medallion. Rush Hour is a great film, with great comedic value and some pretty interesting fights. But the Medallion has Lee Evans (I think. Or at least some guy who I can't name but I know is funny, helpful right?) and some pretty amusing scenes.
And finally, most Bruce Willis films. Die hard 4.0 is an exception , as is the expendable a (if he was in it). Films like Die Hard, Die Hard with a Vengeance were great, with the action, the explosions, the "Yippie Kai Yey" and all that. But probably my favourite Bruce Willis would be The Fifth Element. A great SciFi movie. Nice and long and with some really great acting from everyone, as well as some really well designed comedy from the villain and the "thugs" as well. Not to mention the, shall we say, eccentric actor introduced halfway through? If you're not sure, watch it, and have a chat with me. Just make sure you've got plenty of time on your hands, and don't get to disappointed by the finale scene.

Ok, we've got the day the earth stood still. Compared to other films Keanu reeves has been in, this had no real plot line, he did sweet F A in it, and the ending was pants.
Then we've got the human centipede. NOT a film if recommend watching unless you're an extremely masocistic sadist who takes pleasure from, well, humans linked together irrespective of their basic needs.
And finally, one of the worst films I've ever had the misfortune to watch, Mega Shark Vs Giant Octopus. Not only was this a terribly though out, low budget, poorly acted plotless snooze fest, but it also spawned such films as PirannhaConda, Sharknado, Mega Gator vs something and more. Truly an abomination of film.
Bonus film! Not so much an absolutely all out terrible film, but actually quite poor in its conception, was Kickass 2. Compared to the first, there was a very loose plot, the big battle at the end was flaky to say the least, and the thing about the adrenaline? Dear god...

Voltz Server (WIP)

No. As I said, there are currently NO plugins installed aside from those essential to the running of voltz 2.0.4. Also, it is only set up as a stop gap until I get a modern version built. Finally, can you find a cracked technic launcher?
