NuclearDistrict.net and ChaoticUnited.net are proud to announce the upcoming merger of these two communities! After countless discussions between both parties we are beginning to iron out the details of this merger. Despite whatever things are still up in the air, the administration at ND and CU both share the common belief that these two communities should return to being one strong and united community.
 
I will be keeping this post brief, and more details of this merger will be announced later. However I will sum up the important points. The current NuclearDistrict.net forums will be used as the base to house both ND and CU. The domain ChaoticUnited.net will be pointed to NuclearDistrict.net. The CU skinsets from the CU forums will be available on ND, and thus users can chose the experience that they desire. Posts currently on ChaoticUnited.net will be archived, and subforums will be established as necessary to house CU specific forum topics on ND.
 
At first, the two minecraft servers will be connected via bungeecord, and will be accessed through hub.nucleardistrict.net. However at some point the main servers will be merged into one server with fresh staff in order to house a joint and efficient minecraft experience. Haloman and Micheal will both be receiving the title of CU Manager on the NuclearDistrict forums. They will retain their administrative roles on their own server, and will be providing valuable input to a joint administrative board.
 
All other servers will continue normal operation, though IPs may change during this merger.
 
All donors from both communities will have their donor ranks honored on NuclearDistrict forums. We have not yet determined what the status of the donor ranking system (if any) will be once the servers have merged. Though for now this is not a problem as the servers will remain separate (but as stated before, connected by bungeecord).
 
So in short, NuclearDistrict and ChaoticUnited will be soon considered one community, and players (who already use services offered on both) will be part of one joint community. If you are a ChaoticUnited forums user we encourage you to make a NuclearDistrict forums account if you do not already have one, as all of the current ChaoticUnited forums will soon be archived at ND.
 
If you have any questions feel free to ask! This topic has been posted on both of the respective forums, and administration on both forums are ready to answer any questions, comments, or concerns that you may have.

We might add a Garry's Mod server, there are a couple roadblocks though:
 
-Lack of interest - From the past a GMod server never really had too much interest. There is no reason to make a server that noone will play.
 
-Setup - Not many of us actually have a lot of interest or knowledge to setup a GMod server.
 
 
If interest leans toward a GMod server after the Modded MC server is set up, then we will probably end up finding a way to make it happen.
