    Anti-Virus: Poll

    My top three worst antivirus solutions are, in ascending order:

    3rd - McAffee

    2nd - Norton

    1st - Windows Defender in Vista.

    The reason Vista is the top entry is because it once ran a scan, decided the entirety of System32 was an incredibly dangerous virus, and must be deleted. I said it could quarantine, because I figured it had found a virus within System32 and wasn't telling me the path, but after about 10 seconds of quarantining beginning, my laptop BlueScreened, rebooted, BlueScreened again, then restored System32.

    I updated the laptop to Win7 after 48 hours, with MSE on it. (FYI, that broke after a while and so I got Avast!).

     

    That's your problem with the Vista part. I've never had any problems with Windows Defender. I rarely use Anti-Virus, and I usually never get viruses. Scanned my laptop after two years, and I had maybe 4 viruses. But if I did have to vote on an Anti-Virus program, I would go with Avast! even though it talks.. It gets annoying when it does shit by itself. But the Windows Defender in Windows Vista is fine, my guess is that a virus infected Windows Defender and made it manually detect System32 as a virus.

    New Headphones

    I had spent about $40 on a headset because I don't really like headphones, but they are pretty damn good. I've had them for about a year and a half now, still work like new. They have good bass, and inline controls such as volume adjustment and to mute the headset microphone. The microphone in the headset is retractable, so you don't have to worry about it getting in the way. I'll admit, after having them on your ears for a while it starts to hurt, but then again it just might be me because I let other people use them and they had no problem with them. The microphone quality is amazing, but I don't really think that matters. Anyways, you can take a look at it for yourself here.

    Appeal denied. Why? There is no reason to be world-editing "male genitalia" all over the server. Even if you do apologize, it doesn't change anything, not when we have to go in and get rid of it by hand. If the world-edit was something that would have come in handy, instead of using it for pasting male genitalia, then there would be no problem. No offense, but I believe that you brought on this ban and earned it yourself.

    Don't know what to say about this... Never in my entire life i have played WoW or any other Blizzard game that requires a battle.net account, and now i get this e-mail:

    Anyhow, i've gone to the battle.net site to 'recover' my 'account':
