Unfortunately, a couple weeks ago you circumvented our ban measures on our Discord when I explicitly told you to work out the ban appeal with me one on one or with Halo. But the main problem that we found out was your age, you lied to multiple staff members about your age and with your current age you are not even supposed to have a Discord account.  Additionally, since we last spoke, Discord;s twitter came out with a statement saying that servers that are knowingly to have underage members using Discord will have their server and account deleted by Discord.  
 
It is with this information that I must deny your ban appeal. I would suggest appealing your ban when you turn 13, since an ample amount of time would have passed and you would be old enough to have a Discord account. But please remember next time to use the ban appeal form.

Halo is right on the part of the hosting. I have a server setup for hosting and it is soooo heavy on network usage and electric. My monthly bill in the summer is $300+ and $150+ in the winter. An easy thing to host would end up being websites and thats also tricky as there are so many other web hosts to compete with that you end up having to cut your prices down a lot to even get people interested in your company. Halo does a great job with CU and Michael does a great job as well. I have been following CU for a while now and have seen the progress they have made and they don't stop for anything.

The only reason you weren't banned sooner was because for the past while I've been busy doing a variety of things and I've sadly been unable to be as involved with Chaotic United as I'd like to. Very quickly I was thrust into a position of trying to build up my own game development studio, get a job, and a handful of other responsibilities that leave very little, if any time for CU. As such, I was fairly unaware of most of your past offenses.
 
However, based on these new revelations, as well as seeing how you interact with our other members and our staff team, I have gone ahead and personally banned you from all of our MC servers. The kind of behavior you present to CU is the kind of absolutely shit behavior that we want to keep as far away from here as possible. Your attitude, blatant disrespect for (and outright ignoring of) the rules, trying to bend the rules and frame yourself as innocent, talking shit on our own staff members to try to inflate your own ego, all of this is plain unacceptable. If I were involved as deeply as I was a couple months ago you'd have been banned a lot sooner and never given the chance to potentially appeal as a Griefer.
 
Virtually the entire staff team wants nothing to do with you or your kind. You are an obvious troll and you're going to be treated as such. I've been lenient for a while, to a fault, but those times have come and gone. We want to create a healthy community here at CU, and part of that includes keeping trolls and other shitty people out of it. I think Michael put it quite nicely:
 
 
You're free to make another appeal or make a donation to get yourself unbanned, however you might want to consider making some changes to your attitude and behavior before you return, if you choose to do so. But I think I speak for not just our team, but CU as a whole when I say that we might just be better off without you.

Okay first off lets talk about the actual reason you were set to griefer, the following griefing incidents occurred.
-        You destroyed Downtown’s crops including, sugarcane and pumpkins while he was telling you to stop. Continued jumping up and down destroying more crops. Then shortly after it you called him a loser and left
-        You claimed you replanted them but only 4 pumpkins were replanted. None of the sugar cane was
-        You put tons of cactus over his property because “He was a prick”
-        I also saw a case of spam
This is a blatant case of griefing which has been confirmed and has evidence which you can see at the bottom. You also had prior offenses of breaking the rules and causing trouble on both the MC server and Discord.
First off lets talking about your behavior towards staff members, you have had multiple cases of acting rude towards staff members. There have been at least 3 cases of where you told a staff member that you would not obey the rules or directives given to you by staff members on Discord and MC combined.
After this incident happened with you and Downtown he asked you to stop destroying his stuff to which you replied “No you” and kept causing damage. In the past when a staff member asked gave a directive to stop on Discord, you replied with “I respect no one”. You also cant say we haven’t called you out for your shit, a staff member called you out saying you were being a dick and you replied by saying “Thank You”
But lets go farther, you have also scammed players on the server regarding a mob spawner, which was the first real warning before leading up to the minor offenses of you disrespecting staff members. These prior offenses validates that you had done this knowingly and intentionally using very ignorant excuses that quickly fell apart while looking at logs.
I will not be removing your griefer rank and can only tell you that if you continue to harass others I will be muting you.
In other words I am denying the appeal on behalf of many staff members

I just passed this on to Halo. Hardware wise the server can handle it, but its a matter of whether any mods or server plugins conflict with it. You should expect to hear something on the Discord soon about it.

We have decided that CentOS 7 has become unreliable for our current server environment and are abandoning it  today at 5:30PM CST in favor of Mageia 4.1. 
 
This will significantly decrease the complexity of configuring the servers and will be up to date and will improve performance.
 
The Server should be up before 7, but I'll say 7:30PM just to be safe.
 
 
This is in attempt to improve performance and decrease downtime.

I am currently out of the server center dealing with Midterms and then I am heading straight to Florida on Vacation after.
 
I know I’m supposed to say that I’ll have limited access to email and Skype won’t be able to respond until I return — but that’s not true. My Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini  will be with me and I can respond if I need to. And I recognize that with this community I’ll probably need to interrupt my vacation from time to time to deal with something urgent.
 
That said, I promised my mom that I am going to try to disconnect, get away and enjoy our vacation as much as possible. So, I’m going to experiment with something new. I’m going to leave the decision in your hands.
