    Get Firefox

I have it but i like chrome better

With the new look of chrome if I ever switch browsers i'll probably switch to Pale Moon - it's based on firefox but has a delightful amount of UI customization and I can make it look a lot like chrome thanks to the power of themes :^)

but for now im sticking to good ol' chrome 54.0

  2. Honestly I agree with you on most of this, except for the whole part about MC being a dead game. I've heard that idea get tossed around a lot and I want to try and explain the other side of that story.

There are still a ton of Minecraft-focused communities and forums that all are plenty successful. Generally from what I've seen, people say that Minecraft is a dead game purely because they themselves lost interest in the game. Millions still play it, and I suspect that won't change anytime soon just due to the nature of the game. The game is, in a sense, virtual Lego - it can act as a survival tool but at the core a big focus is creativity. For the creatively-inclined, the game likely won't tire as easily - which is probably why I've been able to stick with it and love it for over 7 years now. As of lately, MC has actually been starting to trend upwards again. For some reason or another the game appears to be coming out of it's perceived dead state. My theory is that the issue is simply advertising. Nobody knows that we exist, and the few who do are people who came from old CU. Virtually everyone here is someone who was on ND or old CU at some point. The only exceptions being friends of those people from old CU. As such, those people have been moving on and nobody has come in to fill their place. I take full fault for that because I'm absolutely clueless on how to actually advertise without something to the effect of paying for premium server listing spots or something of that sort.

In regards to the idea of a total "reopening" and "clearing out all the old", I don't know if I'm quite keen on that idea. I'm very much in favor of historical preservation, and at the moment I'm not exactly all that comfortable with the idea of totally doing a 180 and effectively wiping away what we once had. I feel that we have a responsibility to honor the past - not just of the old CU, but of the small yet very real population of people who have stuck around in the new CU and ND too. I'm not entirely against having a focus on things that aren't Minecraft - the primary issue is that for the past several years I've been in a spot where I don't have a ton of resources to do things. That's about to change within the next month or so though.

Call it a block fetish (xd) or anything else, MC is something I'm passionate about and it's something that won't be going away anytime soon. I'm all ears for ideas for expansion, but it's likely going to be a long time before we see the end of CU's MC server. In regards to said expansion - what specifically are you suggesting? More servers? Ignoring servers and focusing on Forums/Discord? Something else entirely?

  3. The server is indeed still alive, and we aren't going anywhere anytime soon - don't you worry.

I do encourage you to check out our Discord as generally people are significantly more active on there more than anything, which you can join here.

In terms of Minecraft, while it's not super active, the few of us who are tend to be on the 1.13 testing server as we work on upgrading. I can whitelist you to it if you want - although only Survival is fully functional on that server.

  4. Howdy folks! Some stuff has been happening the past few days and I think it's high time we let you guys in on some of it.

As you probably know, Minecraft 1.14 released just a few days ago. Our test server has, as of today, been updated to 1.14 - granted there's still a ways to go. A lot of stuff is broken, but not as much as was broken with 1.13. Survival is mostly playable, however most other gamemodes aren't functional just yet. This will obviously change as time goes on and things get updated, Spigot and our plugins alike. This is still a fairly decent outcome considering that we are only a few after 1.14's release and we're already somewhat up and running on it.

But of course, something else is significant about today. Today is April 26th, CU's birthday. Today marks 8 years since Chaotic United first opened its doors to the world.

That's quite a long time, and a lot has changed in the world since 2011. Many of us here were children back then. Many of the people who were around back then have moved on from Minecraft, and many of those did so years ago. For a lot of people, it's sad to look at the current state of the community in comparison to back then. Part of our apparent lack of progress is my fault.

For the past couple years I've neglected to run my staff team properly, and over the past couple of years the importance of staff expectations have degraded. The importance of being active decreased, I failed to give people things to do, and people were still growing up and moving into a new phase of their lives. Many of the people who had nothing but time back then nowadays are busy with college, work, or life in general.

I've told this to my staff team just the other day, and I'm going to tell you - I want this 8th anniversary to be a turning point. A turning point for me, for this team, and for this community. The torch I've picked up and continue to carry has been neglected - and for that, I am terribly sorry. But sorry isn't enough - the only thing that's enough is correcting the mistakes of the past and building a better future. To deliver on the promises and goals I had back in 2014. And while those goals may be high - too high to be realistic, as some say - I believe in aiming high.

A pattern has been consistent for each and every one of these special dates - a promise of "things will get better soon, guys", time and time again like a broken record. My goal is for this one to be the last one. I want our 9th birthday to be a celebration, not a message of hope for the future. I can say things will get good soon, but sooner or later people are going to stop having hope. We've been declining, not growing. I want our next birthday announcement to be reminiscent of the one that was posted after it's first year of life:

Chaotic United is now a year old, give or take a couple days. It was once a much smaller community known as "Fatality Minecraft" that only consisted of a Minecraft server, run off of killerteddy's computer.

This year has been amazing, we've expanded rapidly and became a successful and known gaming community. Our presence has spawned many other small gaming communities, some chose to try to develop alongside of us and others tried to attack our member base and steal the ideas that our community was founded upon.

None of our achievements and goals would have ever been met without you guys, the community. So we owe it all to you. Many original members of Chaotic knew that we were always branded by our blue colour schemed styles so I've decided to revamp our current theme to blue and white as opposed to the green and white. You'll also find various of improvements and new features that were added in the past week.

Also, in addition to all this we've reached 100,000 total posts! That's a huge milestone for us, and in less then a week or so we'll hit 25,000 total members. Out of all the projects I've lead or contributed to none has been ever so successful as Chaotic, and I'm proud of what we've all built Chaotic United to be.

So once again, thanks everyone for making Chaotic's first year an amazing and the development team is working diligently to produce new and truly custom and immersive content. And also a special thanks to all of our donators and supporterss, without you we wouldn't be able to fund the server costs and development costs. And we're still very proud to say that not even a cent of donation money has ever been spent for our personal benefits.

I want next year's post to look more like this, instead of preaching hope of future prospects for the 3rd or 4th year in a row. You'll start seeing the effects of some of these changes as we update to 1.14, and as we move into the rest of the year.

Now to clarify something before we wrap up: When I talk about a turning point, I do NOT refer to any shift away from Minecraft. We may start to explore having one or two other servers, but we're gonna be sticking to Minecraft as our main server for many years to come. I firmly believe that the issue is not entirely due to the server itself (though there are definitely some things that need to change on that front), but moreso to do with how we as a team actually function - along with a lack of any sort of marketing/advertisement.

Keep your eyes peeled on forums and Discord - things are gonna start happening very soon that will mark a turnaround in this community.

  5. Hey! Welcome aboard! Nice to see people still opting to register even with it being optional, and definitely nice to see people coming to check out the Beta 1.7.3 server!

I saw you made a couple posts saying that the server was down - I'm looking into it now and it should be back up within a few minutes.

Either way, enjoy your stay at Chaotic United! And if you have Discord, feel free to join our Discord server at https://discord.me/chaoticunited

  6. Sorry to see you go, man. I hate to see you leave outright as I've had some good times with you as well. But I suppose as history has shown, nobody sticks around forever sadly.

If you ever decide to return, you can be sure I'll still be around here in some capacity, doing something to help this community move forward.

In either case, I'm glad you're starting to get your stuff sorted out, and I'm honored to have been a part of helping you through the trouble and issues you had. It's this kind of stuff that makes running CU worth it - even if it's not as popular as it once was, me being here and keeping CU going is still making a lasting impact on the lives of people.

I wish you good luck in your endeavors, and I hope I'll see you again one of these days.

But alright I understand and Bye. 😣Before I go happy birthday earlier Halo.

Thanks, and as I said before, you're welcome to keep using forums and MC if you like. 😉

  8. You've had numerous incidents on our Discord server, and we've heard this same tale before. I'm sorry to say that this appeal will be getting a rejection for today, and I doubt many others will have any qualms about that verdict. Time and time again, you've blasted out our eardrums, played music, and generally gotten on people's nerves. People got tired of it and so action was taken. 😕

You are more than free to continue playing on our MC servers providing you follow the rules, and you're welcome to continue interacting with the community here via the forums.

Your best bet is to give it a while when it comes to appealing from Discord. Utilize our other services in the meantime if you like. Also please, use the provided format for creating an appeal the next time. Despite Jayden's statement of "Don't make another appeal", I am entirely open and aware that, given time, people can grow out of their ways. There was a time where both I and Alycat were banned and had no place within Chaotic United, and we eventually became the ones to run the show.

Other staff are free to comment if they desire, but regardless of what they say the verdict is going to be a rejection, for now. Give it time. As I said before, it's not the end of the world. You still have access to the rest of CU's services - MC, forums, and so on and you're welcome to play and use them as you wish.

  9. Hey, folks. You may have noticed that a little while ago as of this topic that we made an announcement on our Discord and shut all the servers down.

As of now, the server is all ready to go again, so if that's all you care about you're free to get back to playing. However, what happened was nothing short of insane and we think it's important that we share what exactly happened.

On February 25th, a group of hackers/griefers came in and somehow managed to gain OP access. Along with this, they managed to get around FastLogin's premium account protection and use my account during the whole event. Semi-Vanilla and Hub were most severely impacted, with the main server seemingly untouched (more on that in a bit).

Hub was almost entirely wiped from existence, as you can see in the spoiler below.

Thankfully, we had just implemented a backup system a couple months ago. A backup system that is presently flawed and is supposed to make daily backups of the server. I wasn't informed that anything shady had happened until today, but luckily the backup system was just disabled a couple days before this all happened, and we were saved. The backups were taken just a couple days before the whole event, so very little loss of progress should be noticed.

We will not be sharing the identities or any usernames of those who griefed, as the publicity and attention is exactly what they want.

The roots of these players seem to date back to Christmas, where someone logged into Semi-Vanilla and had their IP showing as 127.0.0.1, which if you know anything about networking and how IP's work, would know that having that IP would be impossible. At the time, we wrote it off as no malicious actions took place at that time. The user tried to register with a couple of admin accounts, including wolfbitez and AlexZH. Espon (wolfbitez) just changed his username so this was no longer the real account, and Alex was never admin. Most likely he saw him in spawn and assumed he had administration powers.

The same pattern was found from the griefers, except when they joined main. Two of the accounts let their guard down or forgot to spoof their IP - revealing their actual IP's. These IP's have been banned from the server, as well as all of the accounts and usernames we were able to find that had connections to this group, mostly coming from their YouTube channel.

As for the main server, we found that there were no traces of anything left on it. No unknown OPs, nobody with the all permissions that shouldn't have it. We did notice a bug with Multiverse but it seemed to be unrelated. It has been fixed, but we ultimately don't know for sure that everything is perfect. We ask that you guys keep an eye out for anything strange, and if you find it, report it to us immediately.

For the time being, however, we will NOT be allowing cracked users onto the server. We don't know for sure if this was part of how they broke in, but as a precaution we will be premium-only for the time being. We will likely be keeping it that way until we update to 1.14, especially since the vast majority of our playerbase is premium anyways.

Normally, such an event would be a serious thing that'd cripple us, but thanks to the magic of backup it was a quick fix, and we're back up after a few hours as if nothing had happened.

Once again, if you find anything suspicious, let us know immediately! And for the record, I only speak English. If I'm ever on and I'm not speaking English, be wary.

  10. This guide has not been fully tested by the community. This warning message will be removed after it is confirmed to be working.

Hey! So you might have noticed that your saved waypoints have vanished after the recent server maintenance. Among other things, these changes allowed us to get a standalone IP for the modded server. Unfortunately, due to the way that JourneyMap stores waypoint data, all old waypoints will not show. Thankfully, this is a relatively easy thing to fix.

First, select the Brink of Chaos modpack and choose 'Modpack Options'.

    Next, click the 'Open' button.

    16b4bd10a4d9070b70a0d08e8192420c.png

You will now be in the folder containing the modpack. From here, look for a folder called "journeymap" and open it

    1981865e613aa8b735a0891f20be1aea.png

From here, you'll see several more folders. Open the folder called 'data'

    bc484f28df61584c10af3aac2158a888.png

    Now, open the 'mp' folder.

You will most likely only have a single folder in here. Rename the folder to "Chaotic~United~Brink~of~Chaos"

If you have more than one folder present, make a reply containing a screenshot of the list of folders and we'll help you out.

And that's it! Restart your client and you should see all your waypoints return.

  11. Hey, folks! Some new things to talk about today! This time, all about the lovely CU website.

As of now, we have retired the old CU helpcenter in favor of a new one (which may or may not be based on the one Elaztek uses).

Our old one was pretty clunky in both looks and usability. It was generally just not that great. So, we've opted to migrate everything to a brand new helpcenter, integrated into the forums rather than our main website.

Some topics (in particular, ones that aren't really standard articles) have not and likely will not be migrated over anytime soon. However, you'll still find links to them in our new helpcenter. The old helpcenter and any links that it contains are now considered legacy and as time goes on will be further and further out of date.

You can check out the new helpcenter by clicking here.

In the first draft of this announcement, that's all that happened. But then, something else happened - the homepage got a slight facelift. Not a huge change, but if you check the homepage, you'll see the latest announcement topic featured right there, along with the image and other basic information about it. Cool, right?

Lastly, our dark theme got all the new banners added to it because it turns out I forgot to add them to it. Better late than never, right? 😅

That's all for now folks! We can't share many other details just yet (though you should keep your eyes peeled for some news soon), but 2019 is shaping to be a big year - a truly defining year for CU. You may also notice several staff in Discord in voice (in private staff channels) around 3PM Central, as we're doing a staff meeting today - the first in a while. There's also some other neat things in the works behind the scenes besides that as well - details of which we hope to share soon.

But, for now, that's all I've got. See you folks soon!

    HI Hoty,

Unfortunately, a couple weeks ago you circumvented our ban measures on our Discord when I explicitly told you to work out the ban appeal with me one on one or with Halo. But the main problem that we found out was your age, you lied to multiple staff members about your age and with your current age you are not even supposed to have a Discord account.  Additionally, since we last spoke, Discord;s twitter came out with a statement saying that servers that are knowingly to have underage members using Discord will have their server and account deleted by Discord.

It is with this information that I must deny your ban appeal. I would suggest appealing your ban when you turn 13, since an ample amount of time would have passed and you would be old enough to have a Discord account. But please remember next time to use the ban appeal form.

Sorry,, but I hope you have a happy new years,

This is the reply michael gave to your previous appeal.

  13. Donations don't go to the server bills, and we technically do host our own. We aren't running with some overpriced MC server hosting platform, we run with dedicated servers that we can use for virtually any purpose.

if you want a large amount of more details that i rambled on for a bit you can see it here

    Spoiler

We are in no danger of going bankrupt as michael has done quite well at keeping these servers afloat. Should that change sooner rather than later, I own a VPS from the same company and I have two servers physically available.

Keep in mind we don't just run a single MC server, we run a bungeecord network with semi-vanilla, a hub, and the main MC server. along with that we run a Beta 1.7.3 server and the server for Brink of Chaos, which is a pretty heavy modpack.

Donations always get stockpiled away and never go to server bills for the explicit purpose of making sure it can go to something genuinely useful as opposed to being swallowed up by bills. The issue is we don't get very many donations at all for it to stack up enough to something meaningful.

The biggest financial concern for CU is my own income, which is something im working on resolving in one form or another - though I am more looking for things I can do on my own rather than working some miserable shit job that I just end up wanting to quit every hour of it. What it is specifically that I'll end up doing has yet to be seen, but even should that fail, it will impact my own life moreso than CU.

Anyways, I digress. Starting a hosting company of our own is certainly a neat idea, but it's one that requires that we have hardware and knowledge to do it. Michael would likely be knowledgeable enough to do it, but he's got other stuff going on and honestly I don't see a MC hosting platform being a viable enough option to pursue in our current state. It's not something you'll be able to find an online guide on to do right. If you go with buying physical hardware, then you're also going to need to have incredibly fast internet to handle a large number of servers, a drastic increase in your electricity bill to keep the servers running, a room that you don't mind becoming a sauna as servers kick out a fair bit of heat, and security. That's the biggest one - getting a good security system in place. The ability to mitigate DDoS attacks. Your life ends up being simpler by paying monthly fees for a dedicated server with someone like OVH or something. Plus after all that, there's marketing to consider. Marketing which it seems that nobody here (myself included) knows how to do - which is part of why CU is still so empty.

  14. Hey, everyone! After a long desolate silence on the status of our update to 1.13, I think a progress report is well overdue.

Previously, progress was pretty much at a grinding halt. This is because for quite some time not many plugins were up to date. Recently, though, that situation changed. Many plugins started becoming up-to-date or otherwise compatible with 1.13.

So, where are we? What is the current status of the server? How long until we finally update?

Well, in terms of the number of plugins left to update, the number has shrunk rapidly over the past couple of weeks. However, the plugins that do remain are quite major ones.

As of this topic, the plugins left to update are:

    • PlotMe - The plugin that powers our Creative world, this plugin hasn't had an update since 1.8. It was apparently coded quite well as it's worked flawlessly up until 1.13.
    • PlotMe-DefaultGenerator - This is a world generator that PlotMe uses to generate the plot terrain. This is what's given us the most trouble recently.
    • NoCheatPlus - Our anticheat plugin
    • Orebfuscator (or alternative) - Our anti-xray plugin, however this will likely be replaced as the plugin's buggy nature has caused a great deal of frustration for a lot of people.
    • ZHorse (or alternative) - This is our horse claiming plugin, which itself was a replacement for Stables, which was a replacement for HorseKeep.
    • FOLogBlock - This is our specially modified version of LogBlock, both made to work with 1.13 and to have failover support (hence the name, FOLogBlock - FailOver LogBlock

However, for 1.13 we aren't just going to be updating to an identical copy of our current server. The whole idea is to also freshen things up and introduce new features and so on. While the list of what can be shown is small for now, what I can show off is a plugin I recently made over the course of a couple days - CUWarps.

    CUWarps

This plugin is a counterpart to our existing /warp system. For quite a long time, people have asked: "why is the list of warps private?", to which the response is always "private warps". This is actually only half of the story (though it is the primary reasoning for wanting to keep the list private.

You see, since 2014, we've never actually cleaned out our warps folder. Ever.

Yes, every single warp that was created since September 2014 is still present on the server. The vast majority of them don't work however, as their worlds aren't on the server anymore. Up until 1.13, though, this wasn't really an issue as the list of 247 warps was private. However, 1.13 introduces a new autocomplete system and, well...

Yeah. Every warp can be seen publicly as a suggested command argument. So we clearly needed to fix this. The solution was a custom-made plugin that was fully cross-compatible with Essentials' warps system. This allows us to forever keep all those legacy warps from over the years without making a cluttered mess of a warp menu.

However, there's always been another peculiar issue with warps. Buying one. Warps have always been available to the public for 1000 ingame dollars. In order to get one, however, it always required that a player wait for a moderator or higher to get on and manually create it. Well, that whole scenario is a thing of the past. Moving forward, you will be able to buy warps on your own, private or public. Doing so works as follows:

    /buywarp <warp name> <private|public>

Private and public warps both cost the same. Private warps are accessed only by /cuwarp <warp name>, and will not appear in any lists. Public warps can be warped to by using either /cuwarp <warp name> or simply /warp <warp name>. Public warps also appear in /warps (the warp list). Keep in mind, however, that when you create a warp that you are standing in the exact spot you want players to  be in - this includes rotation as well. After you create it, it cannot be changed without the help of a moderator or higher staff member. The same applies to the name. Also, any warps with racist names will be disallowed and your warp will either be renamed (and you will be notified), or if done repeatedly will result in warps being deleted and eventually, loss of ability to purchase warps.

    The Future of Semi-Vanilla

We thought we made this clear a while back, but here and there we keep getting questions on what will happen to the whole Bungee network and SV server once we update. Which is fair, as the planned approach has shifted a few times as time went on. Originally, we were just going to keep SV as it is and replace the old survival entirely. Later on, however, we altered the plan to turn into a sort of blend between SV and traditional CU survival. Then the nature of how that blend would be mixed changed a couple times. So, let's clarify everything once and for all, shall we?

    Creative

    • Creative will remain completely unchanged. All plots will remain, all builds will remain. Nothing is going to be changing here.

    Survival

    • McMMO will be removed entirely. We may bring it back later, or we might not - all depends on player demand.
    • Jobs will still be present, however existing stats and job selections will be reset.
    • There will not be a /warp shop. All shops will be player-curated, like SV.
    • Survey and other crates will still be available.
    • The survival world will (of course) be reset, and the old world will be uploaded to our download center shortly afterward.
    • The current rank system (Donator, VIP, Platinum, Creator, Sponsor, etc) will remain in place. We are currently looking into implementing a system to let players lock away some of the more cheat-y privileges if they desire, if there is demand for such an implementation.
    • Staff members will have the same privileges as they do on SV by default, with the exception of any perks that come with any donator rank they purchased. Any moderator or above can opt to have their original permissions back if desired.
    • Economy will be reset
    • Any custom plugins and features developed for SV will be made available on Survival (Unenchant, SlimeballJump, etc)
    • Economy will be isolated to Survival only. The plan is to hopefully find a solution to ensure that other modes that use economy (mainly SkyBlock) won't be affected. The details of this are yet to be announced. Stay tuned on this one!

    SkyBlock

    • Will be largely unaffected, with the exception of any server-wide changes (ie, McMMO being removed)
    • Islands will remain available as players can choose to reset them if they want to
    • SkyBlock shop and economy system is still up in the air, depends on what options are available and what can be done within our current system. Stay tuned!

    Minigames

    • All minigames will NOT reward ingame currency, leaderboard systems will be implemented where possible
    • Alternative reward systems are being looked into, expect more information on this as we get closer to launch. Stay tuned!

Whew. So, that covers the main server. But what about SV and the whole Bungee network?

    BungeeCord Network

    • The current plan is to keep the Bungee network in place for now, in order to serve as a fallback point during automatic server restarts as well as in case we want to implement gamemodes that don't support a multiworld configuration

    Hub Server

    • Will remain online as a fallback point when the main server auto-restarts

    Semi-Vanilla

    • Will be shut down, and world will be uploaded to our download center
    • Any players who paid for VIP rank will be granted the VIP rank on the Main server (though this should already be the case as SV never had its own store product)

Before we wrap up, I should go ahead and mention that it is possible for any or all of the above information to be changed between now and release. It could change due to community feedback, or just us deciding that we need a different approach due to either technical or other reasons.

    Oh, right. I almost forgot!

We are slowly going to be implementing some more pretty pictures around the website. For those of you who've seen the Elaztek website, you'll probably already recognize this kind of look. That's because it's effectively the exact same design. It's made particularly easy since the Elaztek and current CU themes are both derived from the same base theme (that being the CU 2016 theme). Currently, it's limited only to forum topics, but you can expect to see more and more header banners as time goes on (possibly very quickly after this topic posted). Since we got the new theme released, we wanted to start going ahead and making some other updates and improvements to add a bit more polish to everything as well.

Well folks, that's it! If you have any questions, concerns, or comments, let us know!

  15. Hey, everyone! We have an exciting new announcement to share!

We are introducing a new premium files system to the forums, as an extension of our existing download center.

As you guys know, not too long ago, we made a poll on both Forums and Discord asking for your guys thoughts on us trying to do some stuff with CU that could help pay the bills (and then some). To my surprise, virtually everyone voted in favor those ideas. One thing I mentioned was things that made it to where not only us, but some of you as well, could also make some money. This is where these new expansions to our download center come in.

    So, how does it work?

Simple. If you have a grand Minecraft build (either in a .schematic or a regular world), web content, graphic work, and so on, you can choose to upload the file as either free or premium. You can set whatever price you like. If people buy it, the funds will be dropped into your account balance, which can be withdrawn at any time you like. CU will take a small percentage of the funds, and the rest is yours.

In accordance with this, we have updated our guidelines/terms for uploading files to the download center. You can check those here. Additionally, we have a nice information page for premium files in particular which you can check out here.

    Premium Files FAQ

Q: Why can't I get 100% of the profits? You didn't make any of my content, I did! >:^(
A: Correct. We did not develop your content. However, we do host the website that you have uploaded the file to, and that host isn't free. Besides, we are very generous with only taking 15% of the profits. Some sites demand 20% or even 30% - which is just absurd.

Q: What if I create a build of a super sexy lady but I don't show any nudity?
A: This is fully permitted, but I don't know if anyone will be willing to buy it. Those kinds of builds are more of a screenshot piece. You're more than welcome to try, though.

Q: If I upload a file, do CU staff members get to download it for free?
A: Managers, Administrators, and Owners can download your file without needing to pay. Moderators and below must pay, however.

Q: If I upload something such as a SkyWars or SurvivalGames arena, will CU use it?
A: If we find interest in your build, we will generally inform you about it. We will never use your builds for free without your permission. You may allow us to use them free of charge, but otherwise you will receive a payment for the build before we use it.

Q: Why can't I get my withdrawal immediately?
A: As we mentioned before, we want to ensure we can actually pay you first. If we can't pay you for whatever reason (ex: the money in CU's PayPal was used on server bills), then we will need to transfer money into it beforehand. Don't worry - you will never not have your account credit. If need be, CU will pay you out of pocket. :)

Q: What if my content is commentary on a sensitive topic, such as racism, sexism, etc?
A: Commentary or not, if your content is deemed overly offensive, it will be removed. Otherwise, anyone could make racist content and just say "oh, its just commentary so its fine :D". Just because it's commentary, doesn't mean it can just bypass the rules. Ultimately, we are the judges in these cases.

Q: Can my content promote another community or website?
A: You can ask us first, however in most cases it is not allowed. Exceptions would be any content relating to Nuclear District, Hurricane Craft, Elaztek Studios, United AlyCraft, and any other members or partners of the Chaotic United Network. You can find a list of those names here.

If you have any questions or concerns relating to this new system, or if you think anything in the terms we've setup are unfair, let us know! This is fairly uncharted territory for us, and if there are legitimate issues and flaws with our current setup, we want to fix them as early on as possible. Additionally, if you have any other types of content we should set up categories for in our download center (free or paid), let us know!

Once again, I do want to thank you all for your continued support over the years.
