About us
Chaotic United has had a very rich history. We started out as a small Minecraft server back in 2011 on the domain chaoticunited.com
When the year 2013 came, slowly the population has diminished. The server that previously hosted 100 people had diminished to 60.
Even later on the player count took a massive hit. Closer to the end of 2013 the average was around 14. Chaotic United was beginning to die.
At this point, There were two possible theories as to what happened. (See the tabs to the right)
After all that, Chaotic United was taken over by Hurricane Craft. Eventually, after Hurricane Craft closed, Chaotic United died right with it.
Then came September 20, 2014. That day would hold a lot of weight. Haloman30(also Halogirl30) brought Chaotic United back from the dead.
Click here to view the full timelineKillerteddy was found out to be abusing the donation money, which was meant to go the server. He was supposedly using it on drugs to shoes, Doritos to pizza.
This came out after a few months where Atomicbeast101 was keeping the server alive by paying all the bills. Teddy returned and would not pay him back for what he paid. Various staff spread the word, and the loyal Chaotic United staff left it and founded a healthier place to game - Nuclear District.
As player populations continued to decline, Killerteddy began to lose hope for the Minecraft server. He told one admin that he may end up closing the Minecraft server down.
At this point, the admin pretty much flipped out, and to ensure that the players left on the MC server didn't get screwed, he spread rumors that Killerteddy was abusing donations and was going to close the MC server. Basically everyone bought it and the bulk of CU's community left to join Nuclear District - a ray of light in an otherwise dark time.
Hello new members and old Chaotic United members that decided to follow us on our journey to make a new and healthier community for all of us to game in.
We thought you might be looking to find answers to your questions so here is a quick rundown of the situation.
Over the past couple months, the owner at chaoticunited.com had been missing in action and not contributing to the general welfare of his community. In the past he has been notorious for abusing donation money, buying drugs and shoes while he could have been investing the community's profit in buying advertising that would have made it greater.
The lack of financial support to CU really has taken a toll on it and there was frankly nothing we could do about it. Our problems came up to a point where atomicbeast101 had to pick up several bills because the owner was absent. Atomicbeast101 was then denied his cash refunded to him despite all the work we have known him to be putting in the community.
When teddy threatened to shut down the MC server because it wasn't turning in any profit we thought it was our duty and within our reach to be providing you guys with a better gaming community under a management that would take the appropriate steps to provide it.
Thus this network starts, hopefully you enjoy what we will be attempting to provide you with, a great gaming experience. Our minecraft server is already operational at play.nucleardistrict.net Our teamspeak is at ts.nucleardistrict.net
